Digestion Kit (digestion of tissue)

  • Primary, freshly isolated cells are often used for research purposes. One of the main advantages of these cells is the lack of genetic modification, which means they best reflect the physiological state.
  • The Digestion Kit for the isolation of cells from tissue is a set of concentrated enzymes for digesting the connections between the cells and separating them from the extracellular matrix (ECM). These enzymes are safe for the cells because, unlike other widely used ones, they do not digest the cell membranes or proteins associated with normal cell function. The cells obtained with the Digestion Kit can be successfully used in further biochemical or molecular analyses, or for cell cultures.
  • The Digestion Kit for cell isolation is a set of four 4 mL vials filled with enzymes (a total of 16 mL of enzymes) that enable tissue digestion in order to obtain single cells. As a standard, 16 mL of enzymes are enough to digest about 16 g of tissue.
